Developer of Eastgate Commerce Center steps up to assist with beautification efforts at Job One’s Independence, Missouri headquarters.
Independence, MO — June 22, 2023 — Job One, based on Yuma Avenue in Independence, MO, gained a new neighbor just a few miles east with the groundbreaking of NorthPoint Development’s $900 million Eastgate Commerce Center along the Little Blue Parkway corridor in 2022. Job One, a nonprofit social enterprise that provides community-based day services and job opportunities for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment, has operated out of their headquarters in an industrial area off Truman Road since 1981. Job One is in process of transforming their facilities and expanding their service offerings. Leadership at NorthPoint reached out to offer their support, with both funding and team members generously volunteering time to provide some much-needed landscaping updates at the Job One facility. In addition, Signature Landscape joined in the effort, also donating their services.

It’s been great to see our clients respond favorably and get excited about the improvements.”
