Benefits Planning FAQ

Yes! You absolutely can. The great thing about each type of disability-related benefit is that there are things called work incentives that will help you as you work while maintaining your benefits.

That depends! There are a few factors when it comes to determining how many hours you can work while maintaining your benefits. These include what type of benefit(s) you receive, how much the job pays you per hour, and if you qualify for any additional subsidies or work incentives. Our benefits planning team can help you get the answers to each of these questions!

There are a variety of safety nets for each type of disability-related benefit that help to protect you from harm due to losing your benefits. SSI as well as SSDI and Medicaid have different protections in place, and our team would be happy to review them with you with respect to your specific situation.

Each starts with an application! You can apply for each type of benefit online. The benefits planning team at Job One is willing to assist with the completion and follow-along of applications for each type of benefit.
