How can Job One’s Benefits Planning Specialist Help You?

Job One recognizes that Social Security Benefits play a big role in the decisions made when it comes to working in the community. By working with the Benefits Planning Specialist (BPS), you will be provided with the tools to make work decisions that fit your situation and align with your goals. The BPS will also assist with making referrals for any other needs that may arise outside of the workplace. Benefits Planning services are provided free of cost to individuals participating in any of Job One’s service programs, whether it be Careers, Community-Based Day Services, the Summer Work Experience Program, or any other program that Job One offers.

Benefits Planning Specialist (BPS) Services Include
· Assistance with benefits planning, including a plan specifically tailored to your situation and work goals.
· Assistance with the completion of a Social Security Disability Benefits Application along with follow-along assistance through final determination.
· Referrals to community resources for any other needs outside of the workplace.

To make an appointment, contact your Employment Specialist, Job Coach, Training Specialist, or Job One Supervisor and ask to meet with the BPS.
